2009 is the International year of Astronomy, so space is the theme for this year's writing competition for the Harvey Briggs Cup for Writing. Maybe you would like to write about aliens, space travel or life on another planet? Your story can be hand written or done on a computer, but it must be your own work. The competition is open to children up to the age of 12, and the closing date is 30 Nov 2009. More details are available from Onchan Library, and here:
