Letters from the Fairy Bridge!

Children taking part in last week's Fairy Quest wrote letters to The Fairy Bridge. The fairies have sent back personal letters to each child who wrote to them, as well as some fairy dust and a little fairy for good luck. Here's a few snippets...

To Vannin: 'We hope to call in to your party on 5th September. If you are very quiet you may hear us calling each other. Have a wonderful day'. To Cara: 'We really loved your letter. One of our fairies called Annie Go Lightly makes umbrellas for the little people.' To Kalie: 'We would love to join you on your next Fairy Quest. It sounds very interesting.' To Courtney: 'We know that you would like us to wave our wands when you pass the Fairy Bridge. Look out for a sparkly light, it will be us waving to you!'

Onchan Library would like to thank The Fairy Shop in Dukes Street Douglas for very kindly arranging safe delivery of letters to and from The Fairy Bridge, and for the lovely Fairy Bridge Story Book - Tales of the 'little people' by Linda Williams.
