Fairy Quest

Children took part in a Fairy Quest at Onchan library this morning as part of the Skandia Reading Quest Summer programme of activities. One of the activities was to write a letter to the fairies.

Courney wrote: 'Don't forget to wave your wand when you go past the Fairy Bridge'. 

Cara wrote: 'I hope that you have fairy umbrellas so that you don't get wet on rainy days. You could use a mushroom.'

The Fairy Shop of  Duke Street Douglas are going to deliver the letters to the fairies at the Fairy Bridge, and will send any replies back to the library. They are also going to give a prize for the best fairy letter.
