The true meaning of Christmas is the message behind the much loved story of ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Charles Dickens.

In true Dickensian style, Manx Radio’s Chris Caine appeared at Onchan Library to read the first chapter, ‘Marley’s Ghost’ to a captivated audience. Anyone who can’t wait to hear chapter 2 can borrow the book from the library over Christmas. The library is decorated with a Dickens’ theme this year, and there will be a ‘Christmas Carol’ quiz over the holidays with a prize from Walker Books.
